Incredibly, the American inventor Thomas Alva Edison only attended school for three months, but this did not prevent to be the creator of a light bulb, electric generating system, a device for recording sounds and a movie projector .
Newsboy when I was 12, Edison spent his spare time experimenting with mechanical and electrical devices. For saving the life of the son of a chief of the railway station where he worked, was rewarded with a course in telegraphy, and so did his first invention outstanding: telegraph repeater that allowed transmit messages automatically to a second line without the operator .
He later established a tape recorder, with some merits, was not enough practice. But the mind of Edison inventing never failed.
His most important invention was the electric bulb
Edison introduced major improvements to the telegraph company where he worked, and the sale of accessories for these devices, brought a sum that he could start his own laboratory. His crowning achievement in telegraphy was to create a machine that allowed the simultaneous transmission of several messages on one line.
In 1877 he announced the invention of the phonograph by which sound could be recorded on a tinfoil cylinder, and two years later he exhibited publicly his incandescent electric light, his most important invention.
Also the film is its debtor, therefore created the Kinetoscope, the first machine to produce motion pictures by a rapid succession of individual images. Edison, who received many awards in his country and other nations, died on October 18, 1931 in West Orange.
